Description Kowat Control Biomimetic is a company dedicated to the research, design, manufacture and marketing of robotic systems inspired by nature, especially unmanned vehicles guided by artificial vision and / or autopilot that have application in agriculture and aquaculture. It is about copying natural ecosystems and replicating them with a simple, current and universal technology to obtain more and better products respecting habitats, evolution and tradition, enhancing local excellence: just as nature does for solutions without external energy inputs . A proof of the commercial potency of these inventions is that they have proven proven effectiveness over millions of years and, therefore, a rapid commercial implantation. For example, using fear as a sustainable method of pest control means solving a global problem when one knows how to use the most powerful weapon of all emotions.
The company was awarded the first regional prize Catalonia Challenge the 2nd prize of the European Satellite Navigation Competition 2016 and we are being incubated in its ESA-BIC of Barcelona and was finalist in Spain for the contest ClimateLaunchap 2017 (the Eurovision of Climate Change).
It has been considered the best Brand Spain Project and was presented to the European Parliament in March as a typical agricultural RIS3.
The low costs and automation of our drones allows the implementation of this technology in areas with low added value crops and integrate sectors of the population without training or with few job possibilities. The Mediterranean is a nexus of union between two continents with migratory routes of millions of birds that, while enriching our natural heritage, create serious difficulties for some types of agricultural crops, aquaculture and great pollution and damage in cities, so this product offers interesting opportunities in a market still virgin.
