DescriptionASALI, Amman Studio for Architecture, Landscape & Interiors is an innovative architecture and design research studio based in Amman. Prior to establishing ASALI in 2012, I was a design architect with Diar Consult and KEO, both leading architectural design firms in the UAE. Upon my return to Jordan and prior to establishing my own studio, I joined Urban Workshop, the design team responsible for all projects related to the Royal Court and the office of the Prime Minister.I have been responsible for the design of a wide variety of building types for a diverse group of clients. Their projects vary in scale from gallery installations to master planning, from modest houses to major urban libraries. As the circumstances of their work have changed, their interests have expanded. They are now capable of exploring the full richness and diversity of the ‘practice’ of architecture, understanding it as a critical cultural endeavor that engages the most fundamental desires and aspirations of its clients.
